Hi! 👋 I’m Collins , an Actuarial Science student with a strong passion for numbers, tech and gaming. I appreciate how tech evolves and shapes the way we live and interact.
What motivates me is the idea of a better tomorrow. I believe that combining analytical thinking with creative problem solving ,we can develop solutions that work to make a difference.
Over time, I have acquired knowledge of programming skills that support both my actuarial and tech interests. These include:
I’m currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Actuarial Science at the Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology. My studies have given me a strong background in financial theory, risk-analysis, operations research and statistics- which help shape my problem solving mindset.
I worked with the Center for Systems Awareness on climate-change related challenges using the En-Roads Climate Simulator to explore and model data-driven, feasible strategies for climate change mitigation. The project focused on analyzing the impact of various policy ,energy and societal interventions to better understand the dynamics of climate systems.
